Touchwood Christmas Grotto!.
To celebrate the launch of the Christmas Grotto at Touchwood we did some sampling of our delicious handmade burgers. See our waitress Marianne above who was handing out free burger samples. This Saturday 5th December there will be some mini pantomine sessions taking place in the centre and we will be doing sampling of our Christmas Burger, so come along and get a taste of Christmas!

HB Gives Back- Sustain Team Activity.
Claire Wilson winning the Blythe Valley Park Fun Run
Working together with charitable organisation SUSTAiN, the Handmade Burger Co- Solihull team participated in the Blythe Valley Fun Run on the 13th September 2009. The restaurant team helped to raise money through sponsorship as part of the Handmade Burger Gives Back campaign. Team Leader Claire Wilson won the entire race, completing the 10 kilometre run in just 45minutes. Just goes to show that our burgers are great fuel, as demonstrated by Claire!

HB Gives Back- Cancer Support Group BBQ.
On Saturday 25th July, Handmade Burger Co provided the food for the Cancer Support Group’s annual BBQ. Our chefs Taz, Yousef and Solihull restaurant Manager Sam were on hand to serve people at the BBQ and supply delicious Handmade Burgers. Patricia Hill from the Cancer Support Group described the food as ‘top class’ and said that everyone who attended said ‘without exception that it was the best BBQ they had been to’. We were delighted to contribute towards a great day and assist the Cancer Support Group through the Handmade Burger Gives Back campaign.

Handmade Burger Co were delighted to attend the SOLO charity event held at St John’s Hotel in Solihull on Friday 19th June. The event was held to raise money and to offer SOLO members an opportunity to celebrate at an Oscar themed dinner. Handmade Burger Co sponsored the hessian goodie bags used at the event, as modelled above by Aisling Mullaney from Handmade Burger Co (left) and Amy Kiernan from Leader (right). The event was a great success and we were happy to help support such a worthy cause.
